Mr. Vishal Mehta serves as
the Chairman and Managing Director of Infibeam Avenues Limited, where he
spearheads efforts to build a world-class team focused on creating innovative
digital solutions and enabling seamless global financial transactions through
the company’s flagship brands, CCAvenue and Rediff. With a vision to position
Infibeam Avenues as a leading global fintech engine, Vishal is dedicated to
developing an extensive digital payment infrastructure that empowers
enterprises, corporates, start-ups, merchants, and governments worldwide.
Under Vishal’s leadership,
Infibeam Avenues has not only achieved excellence in the digital payments
sector but has also expanded into cutting-edge technology domains. A standout
initiative is Phronetic, a pioneering Vision AI
business leveraging artificial intelligence to revolutionize how organizations
process visual data. Phronetic enhances operational efficiency and
decision-making across industries, positioning itself as a cornerstone of
AI-driven solutions and enabling businesses to unlock new possibilities through
intelligent automation.
Vishal has also steered
the recent acquisition of Rediff.com, a well-known digital
media and communications platform. This move aligns with his strategy to
diversify Infibeam’s offerings in consumer payments and strengthen its presence
in the digital financial ecosystem. Currently, he is focused on enhancing Rediff's
services to address the evolving needs of businesses and consumers alike.
Vishal holds degrees
in Operations
Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell
University and a management degree from the MIT Sloan School of
Management. After completing his studies, he joined
Amazon’s headquarters, where he contributed significantly to technological
advancements and corporate development, particularly in finance.
In 2007, following a
decade of professional experience in the United States, Vishal returned to
India and co-founded Infibeam with former Amazon colleagues. Under his
leadership, the company has grown into one of the largest fintech, software,
and payment infrastructure provider, processing over $86 billion in
transactions annually across more than 10 million merchants.
